About RD Means
A lifelong adventurer, entrepreneur, and family man, I’ve tackled everything from owning paintball fields to completing my first marathon as an Ironman. I love competition—whether it’s on the court (racquetball, tennis, pickleball), in the mountains (skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing), or on two wheels (motorcycles and cycling). I’ve survived true wilderness survival camps, but my best camping trips always involve a canoe.
After a decade of meandering through college, I earned my AA and built a career in real estate. I’ve been with my wife for 20 years (married for 12), though we’ve known each other since childhood and have two amaxing kids!
Funny fact about me, I was once nearly 300 pounds, I wish I’d gained 4 more just for the story. I live by strategy—maybe that’s why The Art of War is my favorite book. Oh, and my birthday is on a holiday, so I never work on it. Ever.
